CAAPA Founders
the visionaries behind OUR inception
Founded in 2002 by brother-sister musical duo Victor Simonson and Pamela Simonson Parker, alongside their mother Terri Allen, CAAPA emerged from a desire to "give back to their community."
These native New Yorkers sought to create performance opportunities for African American classical musicians while introducing diverse audiences to classical music.
