Program Audience: Young professional classical musicians

  • Young professional musicians who have completed formal training and are establishing their careers in classical music. This includes recent conservatory graduates, artists in their first decade of professional performance, and musicians ready to transition from regional to national recognition.

  • Our showcase celebrates diverse classical performances including vocal recitals, instrumental solos, chamber music, and collaborative works. We welcome all classical disciplines from opera and art song to orchestral and contemporary classical music.

  • Artists are selected through a competitive application process that evaluates artistic excellence, professional potential, and alignment with CAAPA's mission to promote diversity in classical music. Selection criteria include performance quality, career trajectory, and commitment to classical arts.

  • Beyond the performance platform, participating artists gain access to professional networking, mentorship opportunities, industry connections, and potential collaboration prospects with CAAPA's extensive network of classical music professionals.

  • Join our waitlist above to be notified when dates, application deadlines, and audition requirements are announced. We typically host the showcase annually with applications opening several months in advance.

  • Contact us for current application fee information and scholarship opportunities. We believe financial barriers shouldn't prevent talented artists from accessing career development opportunities.
