About Terri Allen
Executive Director & Co-Founder
An arts advocate and devoted mother, Terri Allen co-founded CAAPA in 2002 to create a platform for African American classical musicians. Though not a trained musician herself, Terri channels her passion for the arts into developing innovative programs, fostering strategic partnerships, and creating performance opportunities that help "Bring Color to the Classics!®"
As CAAPA's Executive Director, she leads the organization's mission to support performers while broadening audiences' appreciation for African American contributions to classical music. Her vision and leadership have transformed CAAPA into a nationally recognized arts organization.
